Hoping summer is finally here after a cold springtime - never warm when the wind blows in from the East!

We're busy on the farm with our usual summertime jobs.

lambing time is over, livestock outside grazing in the fields.

We've made some grass into silage to feed our livestock during the winter - we will need to do more in a few weeks time, a nice few hours of rain overnight sometime soon would be grand!

The goslings have arrived , they'll be out in the field soon , a regular sight on Ringinglow Road. Not taking orders for Christmas until September.

Shearing sheep one of our next jobs - hard work for very little revenue- the wool we sell will not cover the costs of shearing, but it has to be done for the welfare of the sheep.

The shop is keeping busy - our BBQ packs seem to be popular - often a different bbq deal each week.

Remember - everything we sell we have full traceability on where t comes from - our own beef & lamb and name of farmer for chicken & pork, eggs & potatoes. Our ethos is that we know just where everything has come from!

Keep an eye on facebook for latest offers & what is available.

We are great quality & good value - cutting out the wholesale supplier  means we can keep prices low, and we have less food miles.
